As a way to trigger community involvement, a poster was designed and spread throughout the neighborhood. The poster showed a picture of the miniature model in which cut outs of the inhabitants were placed. This setting is a remake of an old picture (that was found in a private collection) that shows students and teachers posing in front of the Said Halim Pasha Palace. The picture was taken in 1939 at the time when the building functioned as the El Nasriya School. This institute was considered to be the leading educational institute for the elite (for sons of pashas and beys) at that time. Nowadays the palace is left abandoned and nobody is permitted to enter. The poster imaginatively ‘reopened’ the site and showed the empowering capacity of the model.
